A R Rahman:
The maestro was nicknamed as the Mozart from Madras years ago... yet; he came under the spotlight of the international media in full glory after his phenomenal score in Slumdog Millionaire.

Rahman won his first National Award for the film Roja in 1993 and there has been no looking back since. The musical genius has been hogging headlines across the globe this year for the ever-increasing list of international awards honoring his work in Slumdog Millionaire.



Resul Pookutty:

Resul made his sound designing and mixing debut with Rajat Kapoor's Private Detective in 1997. He got his big break in 2005 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black, which was followed by films like Bluffmaster, Zinda, Traffic Signal, Saawariya etc. Then came Slumdog Millionaire, a project that has sky-rocketed him to worldwide recognition. In a double whammy for him, Resul is also the sound designer for Aamir Khan's Ghajini, which is India's biggest commercial hit ever.

Anil Kapoor:
The success of Slumdog Millionaire is doing wonders for Anil Kapoor's career. He attended the 66th Golden Globe Awards ceremony along with the team of Slumdog Millionaire, which won four Golden Globe Awards. Kapoor also received a nomination for Best Ensemble at the Black Reel Awards of 2008 and has won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

The grapevine has it that the actor, who appeared in the award-winning film, will soon be hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati season 3 for Sony Television.

Irrfan Khan:
Irrfan Khan is a familiar face internationally, thanks to films like The Namesake & A Mighty Heart. But it took a Slumdog Millionaire for him to be a part of an award winning film.

He plays the police inspector in the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire, for which he won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Loveleen Tandon:
Loveleen Tandon is the Indian casting and co-director of international phenomenon Slumdog Millionaire, for which she shared a New York Film Critics Online Award for Best Director with Danny Boyle..

She was also a casting director for several other films, including the Golden Lion winning and Golden Globe nominated Monsoon Wedding (2001) and the BAFTA Award nominated Brick Lane (2007). She was also the casting consultant for the Gotham Award and Independent Spirit Award nominated film The Namesake (2007).
