Akshay Kumar recently unfolded another gesture of his professionalism. Despite having a severe muscle pull, Akshay shot for an action scene with Hong Kong based martial arts expert Gordon Liu for film Chandni Chowk to China.
While making a stunt for Nikhil Advani’s Chandni Chowk to China, Akshay get suffered by a severe muscle pull and was advised to get bed rest. But the actor continued with his shooting. In fact he shot for an action scene for the same film and a song for another film after that.
One of the unit members of Chandni Chowk to China said, “A stunt for the film required Akshay to hang from a pulley and drop to the ground. However, while canning the shots, Akshay suddenly felt a severe pain in his back and he remained hung there. He completed the shot with some effort, but by that time his pain had aggravated. A doctor was called in and he suggested complete bed rest.”
But, Akshay shown his professionalism and completed his back to back schedules considering the losses his film producers would suffer if he cancels his shoot.
The source added, “Akshay shot for a song along with Suniel Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia for De Dana Dan. He also completed another action scene with Gordon Liu for Chandni Chowk to China. Thankfully both films were being shot at the same studio. Incidentally, Liu was here just for a day and he had to fly back to China the same night.”
