Anushka Sharma who made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was unveiled in a media event on Thursday evening.
But the young lady says that the first day she met SRK, she almost looked through him on the sets having failed to recognize him
“I was sitting in a room on the first day before the filming began when one man entered the room and said ‘Hi. I am Shah Rukh Khan’. I didn’t even recognize him till he told his name because he was dressed in his Surinder Suri look. And I was so thrilled after that to have seen Shah Rukh that all day long on the first day of the shoot I was touching him to confirm whether he was the real Shah Rukh or not," laughs the actress.
She also let us in on a secret from the film. She says that director Aditya Chopra who always believes in keeping his films clean and for family audiences, decided to chop off one scene from the rolling credits.
“There was one scene in the end where we have shown our honeymoon in Japan where I told Shah Rukh ‘A1ji’ after spending the night together. It was similar to what Surinder tells Taani on eating her biryani. But Aditya Chopra deleted the scene to entertain his family audience so that whole family can enjoy the movie without feeling awkward,” says Anushka.
